About OMR
Oklahoma Materials Recycling LLC (OMR) was formed in 2009 to take advantage of a new molybdenum recovery process (M-OXY™) developed by principals of Advanced Fibers & Powders, LLC (AFP) for metal oxide powder manufacturing. The technology used for the manufacture of the molybdenum oxides is an outgrowth of a technology developed by AFP for the manufacture of metal-oxide nanopowders. OMR is owned by AFP (the majority owner) and third party investors.
Construction of the first metal oxide manufacturing plant (in Atoka, OK) is scheduled to begin in 2010. Initial operation is expected to commence in 2011.
